- The By-Laws Committee recommends changes in the Local Union By-Laws and reports any violations of the By-Laws that they see or that are reported to them.
- C.A.P. - Community Action Program & Legislative Committee
- The Community Action Program (CAP) & Legislative Committee keeps the Local Union informed of all National, State and Local legislative issues affecting the welfare of the workers, and encourages members to participate in the political process.

- The Civil Rights Committee investigates all complaints of violations of the International Union's policy of no discrimination. They also promote Fair Employmnet Practices and endeavor to eliminate discrimination affecting the welfare of the individual members of the Local Union, the International Union, the Labor Movement and the Nation.

- Welfare and Community Service Committee
Acquaints the Membership and/or their families with the services for both public and private agencies in the community. The committee also assists the membership and their families in times of need, promotes chairatible actions by community agencies, and provides assistance to the community in extreme crisis situations (e.g. natural disasters).

- The media committee publishes Local 735's union paper, "The Liberator," bringing important information about union activities and union news, GM news, and news from the communities in which we work and live. The media committee maintains Local 735's website, listing officers, elected officials and committees. The website is a source for information pertaining to our plant, our company, our communities, and our membership.
- Recreation
- The Recreation Committee plans and implements a variety of activities for members and their families throughout the year. Some of the activities include the Christmas Party and Annual Picnic.

- The Union Label Committee educates our membership, friends, families and our communities about the importance of buying and supporting American-made products. The jobs of all Americans and our economy depend on "Buying American".
